I don't usually write comments on google cause I think it's lame and most of the time, only frustrated people or hipsters do theses kind of things, but I'm going to make an exception for this nail shop. I started to go there a few months ago, and I like the service and the price is great!
The prices are pretty good for such an amazing service! I used to go at Lise Watier, but the prices and quality were basically the same for what I wanted. Small con: when there's too many customers, the service is kinda slow, but it's better to make an appointement early in the morning!
Friendly but the pedicure was very rough and the technician pushed my cuticles back too far, at one point I was bleeding. I will not go back, its too bad there is not much competition in the area.
I chose this salon because of the prices. How could anyone resist, when the prices at this salon are at least 50% off of everywhere else? Price doesn't mean beauty, right? I was hoping this would be a gem I found in St. Hubert, that would be cheap and yet the job would be amazingly done. The polish was applied all over my skin and it looked as though I went out of my way to purposefully smudge every single one of my nails. When I asked them to fix the polish, they didn't understand. There were about 10 other women in this tiny and cramped salon, here to do their nails; and each one of them had their nails look... awful. A fight broke out with a nail technician and a client, who had simply asked why the price she had to pay was different from what they initially told her. The nail tech. went OFF - yelling at her - for no reason. To remove nail polish, they use a drill instead of nail polish remover... while your feet are in someone's lap. This includes if you're getting a pedicure. I kindly asked that the polish be fixed, and no one at the salon understood my displeasure. The technicians do not speak English or French; to say that you want your nails to look 'square' or 'round' - they don't understand. There is 1 girl who tends to everyone and tries to translate what the clients want. She does not understand English. The job is done badly... the worst application of gel nails and polish I've seen; the technicians make no effort to understand you and are extremely rude; the salon itself is extremely unhygienic. Fake nails and garbage littered everywhere. I don't normally write reviews, but for any woman who is looking for a salon that will make her nails look gorgeous for cheap - this isn't the place.
